in a moment,in the twinklingof an eye,at the lasttrumpet;for the trumpet will sound, and the deadwill be raisedimperishable, and we will be changed.
Howthey are destroyedin a moment! They are utterlysweptawayby suddenterrors!
So it cameabout on the thirdday, when it was morning, that there were thunderand lightningflashesand a thickcloudupon the mountainand a veryloudtrumpetsound,so that allthe peoplewho[were] in the camptrembled.
Allthe peopleperceivedthe thunderand the lightningflashesand the soundof the trumpetand the mountainsmoking;and when the peoplesaw[it], they trembledand stoodat a distance.
For the LORDhad saidto Moses,"Sayto the sonsof Israel,You are an obstinatepeople;should I goup in your midstfor onemoment,I would destroyyou. Nowtherefore, putoffyour ornamentsfrom you, that I may knowwhatI shall dowith you.'"
Allyou inhabitantsof the worldand dwellerson earth,As soon as a standardis raisedon the mountains, you will see[it], And as soon as the trumpetis blown, you will hear[it].
It will comeabout also in that daythat a greattrumpetwill be blown, and those who were perishingin the landof Assyriaand who were scatteredin the landof Egyptwill comeand worshipthe LORDin the holymountainat Jerusalem.
and he seesthe swordcomingupon the landand blowson the trumpetand warnsthe people,
But ifthe watchmanseesthe swordcomingand does not blowthe trumpetand the peopleare not warned, and a swordcomesand takesa personfrom them, he is takenaway in his iniquity;but his bloodI will requirefrom the watchman'shand.'
Then the LORDwill appearoverthem, And His arrowwill goforthlike lightning; And the LordGODwill blowthe trumpet,And will marchin the stormwindsof the south.
"Yet if[only] oneis blown, then the leaders, the headsof the divisionsof Israel, shall assemblebeforeyou.
"Separateyourselves from amongthiscongregation, that I may consumethem instantly."
"Getawayfrom amongthiscongregation, that I may consumethem instantly."Then they fellon their faces.
"And He will send forthHis angelswith A GREATTRUMPETand THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHERHis electfrom the fourwinds, from one endof the skyto the other.
"Truly, truly,I sayto you, an houris comingand nowis, whenthe deadwill hearthe voiceof the Sonof God,and thosewho hearwill live.
"Do not marvelat this;for an houris coming,in whichallwhoare in the tombswill hearHis voice,
But eachin his ownorder:Christthe first fruits, afterthat thosewhoare Christ'sat His coming,
Soalsois the resurrectionof the dead.It is sowna perishable[body], it is raisedan imperishable[body];
NowI saythis, brethren, that fleshand bloodcannotinheritthe kingdomof God;nordoes the perishableinheritthe imperishable.
For thiswe sayto you by the wordof the Lord, that we who are aliveand remainuntilthe comingof the Lord, will not precedethosewho have fallen asleep.
But the dayof the Lordwill comelikea thief,in whichthe heavenswill pass awaywith a roarand the elementswill be destroyedwith intense heat, and the earthand its workswill be burnedup.
ThenI looked, and I heardan eagleflyingin midheaven, sayingwith a loudvoice,"Woe,woe, woeto thosewho dwellon the earth, becauseof the remainingblastsof the trumpetof the threeangelswho are aboutto sound!"
And I sawthe sevenangelswhostandbeforeGod,and seventrumpetswere givento them.
