The aged women, in like manner, in holy attire, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teaching well:
Exhort servants to be obedient to their masters, in all things pleasing, not gainsaying:
He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
But he that keepeth his word, in him in very deed the charity of God is perfected; and by this we know that we are in him.
Dearly beloved, I write not a new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you have heard.
2 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
8 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that Antichrist cometh, even now there are become many Antichrists: whereby we know that it is the last hour.
5 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer. And you know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in himself.
And there are three that give testimony on earth: the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three are one.
6 And we have known, and have believed the charity, which God hath to us. God is charity: and he that abideth in charity, abideth in God, and God in him.
