Think about Job, how he'd offer sacrifices for his children, worried they might have sinned. He wanted to make things right with God. It's a powerful image, isn't it?
But here's the amazing thing: you don't have to do that anymore. Jesus' sacrifice covers everything. His blood has cleansed you, forgiven you. That's a gift worth more than anything, right?
So what can you do now? How can you show your gratitude? It's not about burnt offerings anymore. It's about living a life that honors God. It's about waking up each day and choosing to walk in His will, showing love and obedience in everything you do.
That's the kind of "offering" that truly matters. A genuine heart, filled with thankfulness, radiating His love – that's what God desires most. It's like a beautiful fragrance rising up to Him.
You've already been forgiven. You've confessed Jesus as your savior. Now, turn away from anything that pulls you from Him. Embrace the good, and live each day as a testament to His grace. Live a life worthy of the One who called you out of darkness and into His marvelous light. That’s the best gift you can give.
And thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.
And walk in love, as Moshiach also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to Elohim for a sweetsmelling savour.
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
If the kohen that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto YY for a sin offering.
When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.
And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.
And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the kohen shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the kohen shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the Altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
Leave there thy gift before the Altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
Speak unto the children of Yisrael, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.
We have therefore brought an oblation for YY , what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before YY .
Will a man rob Elohim? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for Elohim loveth a cheerful giver.
Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Iyov, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Iyov shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Iyov.
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.
The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
Take heed that ye do not your tzedakim before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Therefore when thou doest thine tzedakim, do not sound a shofar before thee, as the hypocrites do in the Synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
That thine tzadakim may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
Honour YY with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is YY 's: it is holy unto YY .
Give unto YY the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship YY in the beauty of holiness.
And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto YY thy Elohim with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto YY thy Elohim, according as YY thy Elohim hath blessed thee:
And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto YY , ye shall offer it at your own will.
Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of YY thy Elohim which he hath given thee.
That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto YY thy Elohim, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.
But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.
And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto YY to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.
And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of Elohim that is in Yerushalayim.
The sacrifices of Elohim are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O Elohim, thou wilt not despise.
And Kore the son of Imnah the Levi, the porter toward the east, was over the freewill offerings of Elohim, to distribute the oblations of YY , and the most holy things.
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy kehunnath, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to Elohim by Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach.
Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering unto YY of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Yisrael; and ye shall give thereof YY 'S heave offering to Aharon the kohen.
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?
But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices Elohim is well pleased.
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Be not deceived; Elohim is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
And in process of time it came to pass, that Kayin brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto YY .
And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And YY had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living Elohim, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
That they do good, that they be rich in tzdukim, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
And brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: over which Cononiah the Levi was ruler, and Shimei his brother was the next.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of Elohim, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto Elohim, which is your reasonable service.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith YY : I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Moshiach forgave you, so also do ye.
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as Elohim for the sake of Moshiach hath forgiven you.
And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of Elohim: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Then came Kefa to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
Y'shuw`a saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith YY -TZvaot, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O YY , and teach me thy judgments.
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith YY : though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If thou, YY , shouldest mark iniquities, O YY , who shall stand?
But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Y'shuw`a, giving thanks to Elohim and the Father by him.
For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
But Elohim commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Moshiach died for us.
Then said Y'shuw`a, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to Elohim.
Repent ye therefore, and do tshuvah, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of YY ;
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the Torah and the prophets.
For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor holy ones which are at Yerushalayim.
It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
Upon each one Sabbath, let every one of you lay by him in store, as Elohim hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Y'shuw`a, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to Elohim continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices Elohim is well pleased.
