When you choose to live without God, it's easy to lose that awareness of Him and start making choices that aren't aligned with His ways. Maybe you haven't truly encountered Him yet. Our hearts can be so deceitful, always looking for ways to satisfy our own twisted desires, driven by that inner restlessness.
The only way to live a righteous life is to keep God's word close to your heart and follow His will. That's how genuine goodness grows from deep within.
God isn't pleased when offerings are misused. They should be used to grow His work and spread the Gospel to everyone, fulfilling the command He gave us. Prayer is key to making sure your offerings are used the right way and that you're following God's leading.
And, Whosoever shall swear by the Altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the Altar that sanctifieth the gift?
And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am YY your Elohim, which have separated you from other people.Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
Thou shalt not sacrifice unto YY thy Elohim any bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evilfavouredness: for that is an abomination unto YY thy Elohim.
And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:Two men went up into the Temple to pray; the one a Parush, and the other a publican.The Parush stood and prayed thus with himself, Elohim, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, Elohim be merciful to me a sinner.I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for Elohim loveth a cheerful giver.
Will a man rob Elohim? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the Altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;Leave there thy gift before the Altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of Elohim: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And YY had respect unto Abel and to his offering:But unto Kayin and to his offering he had not respect. And Kayin was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith YY -TZvaot unto you, O kohanim, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of YY is contemptible.And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith YY -TZvaot.
Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats.But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.
And in process of time it came to pass, that Kayin brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto YY .And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto YY to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto YY , nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto YY .
And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith YY -TZvaot.

And Shmuel said, Hath YY as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of YY ? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?
Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

Thus saith YY Elohim; Let it suffice you, O princes of Yisrael: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, saith YY Elohim.Ye shall have just balances, and a just ephah, and a just bath.
And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of Elohim: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
Wherefore YY said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Shva, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.But in vain they do worship me, teaching for teachings The Commandments of men.
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices Elohim is well pleased.
I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to YY : but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

Take heed that ye do not your tzedakim before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.Therefore when thou doest thine tzedakim, do not sound a shofar before thee, as the hypocrites do in the Synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:That thine tzadakim may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.The sacrifices of Elohim are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O Elohim, thou wilt not despise.
Woe unto you, scribes and Prushim, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the Torah, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

And Y'shuw`a sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.And he called unto him his talmidim, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy kehunnath, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to Elohim by Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
For the flesh lusteth against the Ruach, and the Ruach against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of Elohim, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before Elohim: for Elohim is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
Who shall ascend into the hill of YY ? or who shall stand in his holy place?He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened:But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
By faith Hevel offered unto Elohim a more excellent sacrifice than Kayin, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, Elohim testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
Upon each one Sabbath, let every one of you lay by him in store, as Elohim hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
