Think about first fruits – that special offering we give to God. It's a way of saying "thank you" and showing our love for Him. In the Bible, it's often talked about with the first harvest or the firstborn livestock. But it's so much deeper than that, isn't it?
Giving our first fruits is really about acknowledging that everything we have comes from God. It's about honoring Him by giving Him the first and the best – not the leftovers. It's an act of trust, like saying, "God, I know you'll provide. I know you're the owner of everything, and I depend on you."
It's a good reminder to put God first in everything – not just our money, but our time, our talents, how we use what we have, even the decisions we make every single day. When we put God first, we're saying, "I trust you, God. I want your guidance in everything I do."
It's like James 1:181 says, "He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created." That's pretty powerful, to think of ourselves as God's first fruits.
Honour YY with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
But now is Moshiach risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Ruach, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto YY , them have I given thee.And whatsoever is first ripe in the land, which they shall bring unto YY , shall be thine; every one that is clean in thine house shall eat of it.

Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Yisrael, both of man and of beast: it is mine.
And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of YY :Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the Torah, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our Elohim, unto the kohanim that minister in the house of our Elohim:And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the kohanim, to the chambers of the house of our Elohim; and the tithes of our ground unto the Lvim, that the same Lvim might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.
And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise YY withal.And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am YY your Elohim.
And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of YY :
Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall ye heave it.Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto YY an heave offering in your generations.
The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of YY thy Elohim. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:And there ye shall eat before YY your Elohim, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein YY thy Elohim hath blessed thee.
And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.
The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of YY thy Elohim. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto YY , thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.
Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.And thou shalt eat before YY thy Elohim, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear YY thy Elohim always.
Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto YY an heave offering in your generations.
Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto YY , after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:
All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto YY , them have I given thee.
And in process of time it came to pass, that Kayin brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto YY .And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And YY had respect unto Abel and to his offering:But unto Kayin and to his offering he had not respect. And Kayin was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

And as soon as The Commandment came abroad, the children of Yisrael brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the Torah for the kohanim and Lvim: for Yhudah rejoiced for the kohanim and for the Lvim that waited.
Moreover he Commanded the people that dwelt in Yerushalayim to give the portion of the kohanim and the Lvim, that they might be encouraged in the Torah of YY .And as soon as The Commandment came abroad, the children of Yisrael brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
And smote all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of their strength in the tabernacles of Ham:
And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my Elohim, for good.
Take ye from among you an offering unto YY : whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of YY ; gold, and silver, and brass,
And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the firstfruits of the land: for it is holy unto YY .
And Moshe gave Commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for Elohim loveth a cheerful giver.
But every man in his own order: Moshiach the firstfruits; afterward they that are of Moshiach at his coming.
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to Elohim.
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices Elohim is well pleased.
Woe unto you, scribes and Prushim, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the Torah, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto YY .He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.
Upon each one Sabbath, let every one of you lay by him in store, as Elohim hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of Elohim: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,And laid them down at the emissaries feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Y'shuw`a, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of Elohim, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto Elohim, which is your reasonable service.
But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
But my Elohim shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Moshiach Y'shuw`a.
And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be Elohim's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.
For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Yisrael, saith YY Elohim, there shall all the house of Yisrael, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living Elohim, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;That they do good, that they be rich in tzdukim, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto YY .
Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to Elohim.
Sell that ye have, and give tzedakah; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
And blessed be the El Elyon, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith YY -TZvaot unto you, O kohanim, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of YY is contemptible.And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith YY -TZvaot.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
YY maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the Throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are YY 's, and he hath set the world upon them.

Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto YY .The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto YY , to make an atonement for your souls.
And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto YY thy Elohim with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto YY thy Elohim, according as YY thy Elohim hath blessed thee:
For the children of Yisrael and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the kohanim that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our Elohim.
Come to Beit-El, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Yisrael, saith YY Elohim.
And thou shalt go unto the kohen that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto YY thy Elohim, that I am come unto the country which YY sware unto our fathers for to give us.And the kohen shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of YY thy Elohim.
And YY spake unto Aharon, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Yisrael; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever.
And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of YY 's Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Yisrael in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
This is the Torah of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;
To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith YY : I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Therefore when thou doest thine tzedakim, do not sound a shofar before thee, as the hypocrites do in the Synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:That thine tzadakim may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.The sacrifices of Elohim are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O Elohim, thou wilt not despise.
And Zakkai stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of Elohim in him?
He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Give unto YY the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship YY in the beauty of holiness.
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of YY thy Elohim which he hath given thee.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
And when any will offer a meat offering unto YY , his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:And he shall bring it to Aharon's sons the kohanim: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the kohen shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto YY :And the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aharon's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of YY made by fire.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common;And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.
