VERSES ABOUT JOY

Think about it: the joy of the Lord doesn't just fill you with strength, it brings us all together. It's a joy that's not meant to be kept to yourself; it needs to be shared. Just like the Israelites were instructed to celebrate and share what they had with each other, you can spread the joy of the Lord with everyone you know.

This joy challenges you to love your neighbor and share the Gospel. When your heart is joyful in God, you are strong and empowered to spread that joy throughout your community. It's a lasting joy, something no one can take away.

Psalm 98:4-6 says, "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn— shout for joy before the Lord, the King." You can find so many verses like this that talk about the joy of our God.

Rejoice in YY alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our YY : neither be ye sorry; for the joy of YY is your strength.

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Now the Elohim of hope fill you with all joy and shalom in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of Ruach HaKodesh.

YY hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

But the fruit of the Ruach is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no mitzvah.

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Be glad in YY , and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Rejoice evermore.Pray without ceasing.In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of Elohim in Moshiach Y'shuw`a concerning you.

Serve YY with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of TZiyon: for great is the Holy One of Yisrael in the midst of thee.

This is the day which YY hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Delight thyself also in YY : and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

For the Kingdom of Elohim is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and shalom, and joy in Ruach HaKodesh.

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for Elohim loveth a cheerful giver.

I will greatly rejoice in YY , my soul shall be joyful in my Elohim; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:Yet I will rejoice in YY , I will joy in the Elohim of my salvation.

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of Elohim.And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Rejoice in YY , O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

YY is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Shalom I leave with you, my shalom I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou El Elyon.

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Rejoice in YY , ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the Temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,Praising Elohim, and having favour with all the people. And YY added to the Congregation daily such as should be saved.

Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

And my soul shall be joyful in YY : it shall rejoice in his salvation.

Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for YY hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to YY ;Giving thanks always for all things unto Elohim and the Father in the name of our Lord Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach;

Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O YY , in the light of thy countenance.In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.

The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in Elohim: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

That I may come unto you with joy by the will of Elohim, and may with you be refreshed.

Let the holy ones be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.

Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose Elohim is YY .

But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before Elohim: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

To appoint unto them that mourn in TZiyon, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of YY , that he might be glorified.

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O YY Elohim of hosts.

Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, YY hath done great things for them.

And my spirit hath rejoiced in Elohim my Saviour.

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, YY reigneth.

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, YY be magnified.

YY thy Elohim in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

And the talmidim were filled with joy, and with Ruach HaKodesh.

In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.

Sing unto Elohim, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name YAH, and rejoice before him.

But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Yerushalayim a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Finally, my brethren, rejoice in YY . To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

For thou, YY , hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in YY , mine shofar is exalted in YY : my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

Make a joyful noise unto Elohim, all ye lands:

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

Sing unto YY , bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in YY , my dearly beloved.

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of YY : my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living Elohim.

Be glad then, ye children of TZiyon, and rejoice in YY your Elohim: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Then will I go unto the altar of Elohim, unto Elohim my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O Elohim my Elohim.

And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in Elohim with all his house.

And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:

Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.If ye keep My Commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's Commandments, and abide in his love.These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore Elohim, thy Elohim, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

I will also clothe her kohanim with salvation: and her holy ones shall shout aloud for joy.

Sing, O ye heavens; for YY hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for YY hath redeemed Yaakov, and glorified himself in Yisrael.

Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

And not only so, but we also joy in Elohim through our Lord Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Let Yisrael rejoice in him that made him: let the children of TZiyon be joyful in their King.

And the ransomed of YY shall return, and come to TZiyon with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

The north and the south thou hast created them: Tavor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our Elohim; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is YY ; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.

For we are the circumcision, which worship Elohim in the spirit, and rejoice in Moshiach Y'shuw`a, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

O sing unto YY a new song: sing unto YY , all the earth.

Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto Elohim with the voice of triumph.

And in that day thou shalt say, O YY , I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love Elohim, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of TZiyon: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

YY is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my Elohim, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's Elohim, and I will exalt him.

Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy Torah is my delight.

And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the talmidim glad, when they saw the Lord.

Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

Let mount TZiyon rejoice, let the daughters of Yhudah be glad, because of thy judgments.

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;

And there ye shall eat before YY your Elohim, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein YY thy Elohim hath blessed thee.

And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

Therefore the redeemed of YY shall return, and come with singing unto TZiyon; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

YY reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.

Yet I will rejoice in YY , I will joy in the Elohim of my salvation.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in YY , and in the power of his might.

I will sing of the mercies of YY for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Sing praises to Elohim, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.For Elohim is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Lord Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Moshiach:

And they payed homage to him, and returned to Yerushalayim with great joy:And were continually in the Temple, praising and blessing Elohim. Amen.

Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in Elohim: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my Elohim.

And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

Now thanks be unto Elohim, which always causeth us to triumph in Moshiach, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

What shall we then say to these things? If Elohim be for us, who can be against us?

Praise ye YY . Sing unto YY a new song, and his praise in the congregation of holy ones.

Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the elohim will I sing praise unto thee.I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Unless thy Torah had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

While I live will I praise YY : I will sing praises unto my Elohim while I have any being.

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Ruach;Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to YY ;Giving thanks always for all things unto Elohim and the Father in the name of our Lord Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach;

A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of the sufferings of Moshiach; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

And ye became followers of us, and of YY , having received the word in much affliction, with joy of Ruach HaKodesh:

Give thanks unto YY , call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek YY .
