The Bible says that everyone who is led by the Spirit of God is a child of God. And when it comes to studying the Bible, all you really need is the Holy Spirit's guidance. Once you have that, understanding His word becomes a real joy, something you'll want to dive into day and night. Just like a child knows their parent's voice, you'll recognize His voice, too.
When you truly grasp that He's your Father, you'll be able to understand His teachings. It's like finally getting the instruction manual to life. And in these crazy times we're living in, it's more important than ever to go deeper in your relationship with God. That's where you'll find the wisdom and understanding you need, the real revelation that will guide you.
Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of the mind, examining the scriptures daily, whether these things were so.
Every scripture inspired of God {\i is} also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness:
that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.\par
For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth.
Ye search the scriptures, because ye think that in them ye have eternal life; and these are they which bear witness of me;
For Jehovah giveth wisdom;\par\tab Out of his mouth {\i cometh} knowledge and understanding:
and that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Every scripture inspired of God {\i is} also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness:
And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.\par
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
And take {\b the helmet of salvation,} and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Thou wilt keep {\i him} in perfect peace, {\i whose} mind {\i is} stayed {\i on thee}; because he trusteth in thee.
But Jesus answered and said unto them, {\cf6 Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms {\i and} hymns {\i and} spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God.
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked,\par\tab Nor standeth in the way of sinners,\par\tab Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers:
But his delight is in the law of Jehovah;\par\tab And on his law doth he meditate day and night.
as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby unto salvation;
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life.
The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge;\par\tab And the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.
But seek ye first the kingdom {\i of God}, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that through patience and through comfort of the scriptures we might have hope.
For wisdom is a defence, even as money is a defence; but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom preserveth the life of him that hath it.
Wherefore if any man is in Christ, {\i he is} a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, the new is come.
and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works;
not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting {\i one another}; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh.\par
And as for you, the anointing which ye received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any one teach you; but as his anointing teacheth you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, ye abide in him.
Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart,\par\tab And lean not upon thine own understanding:
In all thy ways acknowledge him,\par\tab And he will direct thy paths.
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ:
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith Jehovah.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law;\par\tab Yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in {\i your} virtue knowledge;
and in {\i your} knowledge self-control; and in {\i your} self-control patience; and in {\i your} patience godliness;
and in {\i your} godliness brotherly kindness; and in {\i your} brotherly kindness love.
For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:
teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.}\par
Be still, and know that I am God:\par\tab I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.
My flesh and my heart faileth;\par\tab {\i But} God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever.
If then ye were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.
Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.
{\i This is} the end of the matter; all hath been heard: Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole {\i duty} of man.
For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.\par
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, {\i which is} your spiritual service.
And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.\par
Know ye not that they that run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? Even so run; that ye may attain.
And every man that striveth in the games exerciseth self-control in all things. Now they {\i do it} to receive a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
I therefore so run, as not uncertainly; so fight I, as not beating the air:
but I buffet my body, and bring it into bondage: lest by any means, after that I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.\par
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and {\b ye shall find rest unto your souls.}
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.}\par
Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.
Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom;\par\tab And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, {\i even} to them that are called according to {\i his} purpose.
but sanctify in your hearts Christ as Lord: {\i being} ready always to give answer to every man that asketh you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, yet with meekness and fear:
Search me, O God, and know my heart:\par\tab Try me, and know my thoughts;
And see if there be any wicked way in me,\par\tab And lead me in the way everlasting.
that ye may become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom ye are seen as lights in the world,
holding forth the word of life; that I may have whereof to glory in the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain neither labor in vain.
Wisdom {\i is} the principal thing; {\i therefore} get wisdom;\par\tab Yea, with all thy getting get understanding.
Oh taste and see that Jehovah is good:\par\tab Blessed is the man that taketh refuge in him.
Even so let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.\par
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me: and that {\i life} which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, {\i the faith} which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
neither present your members unto sin {\i as} instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves unto God, as alive from the dead, and your members {\i as} instruments of righteousness unto God.
For this cause we also, since the day we heard {\i it}, do not cease to pray and make request for you, that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
{\b PE.}\par\par\tab Thy testimonies are wonderful;\par\tab Therefore doth my soul keep them.
The opening of thy words giveth light;\par\tab It giveth understanding unto the simple.
but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.\par
Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of {\i our} faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them that hear.
Train up a child in the way he should go,\par\tab And even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Rejoice in the Lord always: again I will say, Rejoice.
Let your forbearance be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.\par
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:\par\tab I will counsel thee with mine eye upon thee.
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal:
but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.
fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
He becometh poor that worketh with a slack hand;\par\tab But the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
Put on therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering;
forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a complaint against any; even as the Lord forgave you, so also do ye:
and above all these things {\i put on} love, which is the bond of perfectness.
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;
having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
My son, forget not my law;\par\tab But let thy heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and years of life,\par\tab And peace, will they add to thee.
Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ: that, whether I come and see you or be absent, I may hear of your state, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the gospel;
let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not; for he is faithful that promised:
Jehovah, thou wilt ordain peace for us; for thou hast also wrought all our works for us.
Rejoice always;
pray without ceasing;
in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to you-ward.
Every one therefore that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, shall be likened unto a wise man, who built his house upon the rock:
and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon the rock.
And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Wherefore girding up the loins of your mind, be sober and set your hope perfectly on the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
But he answered and said, {\cf6 It is written, {\b Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.}}
Brethren, I count not myself yet to have laid hold: but one thing {\i I do}, forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before.
I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but so to think as to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to each man a measure of faith.
I will lift up my hands also unto thy commandments, which I have loved;\par\tab And I will meditate on thy statutes.\par
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye grieved; for the joy of Jehovah is your strength.
Beloved, I pray that in all things thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,
comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.\par
Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;
through whom also we have had our access by faith into this grace wherein we stand; and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.\par
