We were therefore buried with Him through immersion into death, that as Messiah was raised from the dead by the esteem of the Father, so also we should walk in newness of life.

יהושע said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you shall see the esteem of Elohim?”


This, the beginning of the signs, יהושע did in Qanah of Galil, and manifested His esteem. And His taught ones believed in Him.


“Him Elohim raised up, having loosed the pangs of death, because it was impossible that He could be held in its grip.


“Elohim has raised up this יהושע, of which we are all witnesses.


I speak as a man, because of the weakness of your flesh. For even as you did present your members as servants of uncleanness, and of lawlessness resulting in lawlessness, so now present your members as servants of righteousness resulting in set-apartness.


Or do you not know that as many of us as were immersed into Messiah יהושע were immersed into His death?


And if we died with Messiah, we believe that we shall also live with Him,


knowing that Messiah, having been raised from the dead, dies no more – death no longer rules over Him.


But now we have been released from the Torah, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in newness of Spirit and not in oldness of letter.


And if the Spirit of Him who raised יהושע from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Messiah from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit dwelling in you.


And Elohim, who raised up the Master, shall also raise us up through His power.


For though He was impaled in weakness, yet He lives by the power of Elohim. For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of Elohim toward you.


Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a renewed creature – the old matters have passed away, see, all matters have become renewed!


So this I say, and witness in the Master, that you should no longer walk as the nations walk, in the futility of their mind,


For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Master. Walk as children of light –


and have put on the new one who is renewed in knowledge according to the likeness of Him who created him,


Masters, give your servants what is righteous and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in the heavens.


which figure now also saves us: immersion – not a putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward Elohim – through the resurrection of יהושע Messiah,


The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked.
