Tet You have done good to Your servant, O יהוה, According to Your word.
He who walks blamelessly, And does righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart.
With the clean You show Yourself clean; And with the crooked You show Yourself twisted.
For יהוה Elohim is a sun and a shield; יהוה gives favour and esteem; He withholds no good matter From those who walk blamelessly.
The way of יהוה is a stronghold for the perfect, But ruin to the workers of wickedness.
He who walks in integrity walks safely, But he who perverts his ways becomes known.
He who walks in his straightness fears יהוה, But he whose ways are crooked despises Him.
And He treasures up stability for the straight, A shield to those walking blamelessly,
He who walks blamelessly is saved, But the perverted of ways falls at once.
“When I came, why was there no man? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Was My hand too short to ransom? Or have I no power to deliver? See, by My rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness; their fish stink for there is not water, and die of thirst.
“Cry aloud, do not spare. Lift up your voice like the shophar. Declare to My people their transgression, and the house of Ya‛aqoḇ their sins.
Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart. For Your Name is called on me, O יהוה Elohim of hosts.
Hear the word of יהוה, O house of Ya‛aqoḇ and all the clans of the house of Yisra’ĕl.
Who is wise and understands these words, discerning and knows them? For the ways of יהוה are straight, and the righteous walk in them, but the transgressors stumble in them.
Hear this, please, you heads of the house of Ya‛aqoḇ and you rulers of the house of Yisra’ĕl, who despise right-ruling and distort all that is straight,
And he answered and said to me, “This is the word of יהוה to Zerubbaḇel, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ said יהוה of hosts.
And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Is the arm of יהוה too short? Now see whether My word meets you or not!”
They answered and said to Him, “Aḇraham is our father.” יהושע said to them, “If you were Aḇraham’s children, you would do the works of Aḇraham.
Therefore, has that which is good become death to me? Let it not be! But the sin, that sin might be manifest, was working death in me through what is good, so that sin through the command might become an exceedingly great sinner.
You are not restrained by us, but you are restrained by your own affections.
having a form of reverence but denying its power. And turn away from these!
