And when He is silent, who would then condemn? And when He hides His face, who then sees Him, whether it is against a nation or a man alone?
Would I lie concerning my right? My wound is incurable – without transgression.’
Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their crookednesses, were afflicted.
From the sole of the foot, to the head, there is no soundness in it – wounds and bruises and open sores; they have not been closed or bound up, or soothed with ointment.

“For from the least of them even to the greatest of them, they are all greedy for gain. And from the prophet even to the priest, all act falsely.
Her adversaries have become chief, Her enemies have become at ease. For יהוה has afflicted her Because of her many transgressions. Her children have gone into captivity before the enemy.
How shall I admonish you, To what shall I compare you, O daughter of Yerushalayim? To what shall I liken you to comfort you, O maiden daughter of Tsiyon? For your breach is as great as the sea. Who shall heal you?
It was because of the sins of her prophets, The crookednesses of her priests, Who shed in her midst the blood of the righteous.
For her wounds are incurable. For it has come to Yehuḏah, it has come to the gate of My people, to Yerushalayim.
I bear the displeasure of יהוה, for I have sinned against Him, until He pleads my case, and shall execute right-ruling for me, until He brings me out into the light and I look on His righteousness.
Your injury has no healing, your wound is grievous. All who hear news of you shall clap their hands over you. For over whom did your evil not pass continually?
