The wrong one earns false wages, But the one sowing righteousness, a true reward.
He who shows favour to the poor lends to יהוה, And He repays his deed.
He who has a good eye is blessed, For he gives of his bread to the poor.
Send out your bread on the face of the waters, for after many days you shall find it.
Sow your seed in the morning, and until evening do not let your hand rest; since you do not know which prosper, this or that, or whether both alike are good.
Give, and it shall be given to you. A good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over shall be put into your lap. For with the same measure with which you measure, it shall be measured back to you.
What I mean is this, that each one of you says, “I am of Sha’ul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Kĕpha,” or “I am of Messiah.”
But now Messiah has been raised from the dead, and has become the first-fruit of those having fallen asleep.
And this I say, brothers, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none,
And He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, shall supply and increase the seed you have sown and increase the fruit of your righteousness,
So I thought it necessary to appeal to the brothers to come to you in advance, and arrange your promised blessing beforehand – this to be ready as a blessing and not as greediness.
Now this I say, Torah, that came four hundred and thirty years later, does not annul a covenant previously confirmed by Elohim in Messiah, so as to do away with the promise.
And I say: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not accomplish the lust of the flesh.
So this I say, and witness in the Master, that you should no longer walk as the nations walk, in the futility of their mind,
For Elohim is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love which you have shown toward His Name, in that you have attended to the set-apart ones, and still attend.
