and of the sons of Elitsaphan, Shimri and Ye‛i’ĕl; and of the sons of Asaph, Zeḵaryahu and Mattanyahu;
And Sovereign Ḥizqiyahu and the rulers ordered the Lĕwites to sing praise to יהוה with the words of Dawiḏ and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.
And the singers, the sons of Asaph, were in their places, according to the command of Dawiḏ, and Asaph, and Hĕman, and Yeḏuthun the seer of the sovereign. And the gatekeepers at each gate did not have to leave their position, because their brothers the Lĕwites prepared for them.
and the Lĕwite singers, all those of Asaph and Hĕman and Yeḏuthun, with their sons and their brothers, stood at the east end of the slaughter-place, dressed in white linen, having cymbals and harps and lyres, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets.
And when the builders laid the foundation of the Hĕḵal of יהוה, they appointed the priests in their robes, with trumpets, and the Lĕwites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise יהוה, after the order of Dawiḏ sovereign of Yisra’ĕl.

For in the days of Dawiḏ and Asaph of old there were chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving to Elohim.
Ěl Elohim יהוה shall speak, And He shall call the earth From the rising of the sun to its going down.
O Elohim, why do You forever reject us? Why does Your displeasure smoke Against the sheep of Your pasture?
We shall give thanks to You, O Elohim, we shall give thanks! And Your Name is near! Your wonders shall be declared!
My voice is to Elohim, and I cry; My voice is to Elohim, and He listened to me.
My people, give ear to my Torah, Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
O Elohim, the nations have come into Your inheritance; They have defiled Your set-apart Hĕḵal; They turned Yerushalayim into ruins.
Give ear, O Shepherd of Yisra’ĕl, Who leads Yosĕph like a flock; Who dwells between the keruḇim, shine forth!
Shout for joy to Elohim our strength; Raise a shout to the Elohim of Ya‛aqoḇ.
Elohim stands in the congregation of Ěl; He judges in the midst of the elohim.
O Elohim, do not remain silent! Do not be speechless, And do not be still, O Ěl!
And the lot came out for the clans of the Qehathites. And the children of Aharon the priest, who were of the Lĕwites, had thirteen cities by lot from the tribe of Yehuḏah, from the tribe of Shim‛on, and from the tribe of Binyamin.
So from the tribe of the children of Yehuḏah and from the tribe of the children of Shim‛on they gave these cities which are mentioned by name,
