2 Chronicles 35:15 - The Scriptures 2009

15 And the singers, the sons of Asaph, were in their places, according to the command of Dawiḏ, and Asaph, and Hĕman, and Yeḏuthun the seer of the sovereign. And the gatekeepers at each gate did not have to leave their position, because their brothers the Lĕwites prepared for them.

And they stood in their place according to their right-ruling. According to the Torah of Mosheh, the man of Elohim, the priests sprinkled the blood from the hand of the Lĕwites.


And afterward they prepared for themselves and for the priests, because the priests, the sons of Aharon, were offering ascending offerings and fat until night. So the Lĕwites prepared for themselves and for the priests, the sons of Aharon.


And all the service of יהוה was prepared that day, to perform the Pĕsaḥ and to offer ascending offerings on the slaughtplace of יהוה, according to the command of Sovereign Yoshiyahu.


And according to the ruling of Dawiḏ his father, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their service, the Lĕwites for their duties, to praise and serve before the priests, as the duty of each day required, and the gatekeepers by their divisions at each gate, for so was the command of Dawiḏ the man of Elohim.


And when the builders laid the foundation of the Hĕḵal of יהוה, they appointed the priests in their robes, with trumpets, and the Lĕwites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise יהוה, after the order of Dawiḏ sovereign of Yisra’ĕl.


for the priests and the Lĕwites had cleansed themselves – all of them were clean. And they slew the Pĕsaḥ for all the sons of the exile, and for their brothers the priests, and for themselves.


My voice is to Elohim, and I cry; My voice is to Elohim, and He listened to me.


My people, give ear to my Torah, Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.


O Elohim, the nations have come into Your inheritance; They have defiled Your set-apart Hĕḵal; They turned Yerushalayim into ruins.
