How much more abominable and filthy is man, Which drinketh iniquity like water?


How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge?


It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: But a man of understanding hath wisdom.


They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the LORD: But such as are upright in their way are his delight.


A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: But a man of wicked devices will he condemn.


Good understanding giveth favour: But the way of transgressors is hard.


Surely he scorneth the scorners: But he giveth grace unto the lowly.


So shalt thou find favour and good understanding In the sight of God and man.


Such is the way of an adulterous woman; She eateth, and wipeth her mouth, And saith, I have done no wickedness.


For whoso findeth me findeth life, And shall obtain favour of the LORD.


And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
