If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.


even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.


Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.


but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.


For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.


For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.


Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:


Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.


Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:


we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.


to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.


that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;


whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.


Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.


and that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;


For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.


Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:


Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.


Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
