But an opportunity came when Herod on his birthday gave a banquet for his nobles and military commanders and the leading men of Galilee.


Now a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, competent in the Scriptures.


And it happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the inland country and came to Ephesus. There he found some disciples.


And as he reasoned about righteousness and self-control and the coming judgment, Felix was alarmed and said, “Go away for the present. When I get an opportunity I will summon you.”


What I mean is that each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.”


whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours,


What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each.


Do your best to speed Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their way; see that they lack nothing.


But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared,
