The God of Israel said to me, the strong one of Israel spoke, the ruler of men, the just ruler in the fear of God.


For in very deed God will not condemn without cause, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.


The lip of truth shall be steadfast for ever: but he that is a hasty witness, frameth a lying tongue.


Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord: but they that deal faithfully please him.


Delicacies are not seemly for a fool: nor for a servant to have rule over princes.


Wisdom is too high for a fool, in the gate he shall not open his mouth.


As snow in summer, and rain in harvest, so glory is not seemly for a fool.


As a lame man hath fair legs in vain: so a parable is unseemly in the mouth of fools.


A prince that gladly heareth lying words, hath all his servants wicked.


Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,


Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam in thy own eye, and then shalt thou see to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
