And the woman said to Elias: Now, by this I know that thou art a man of God; and the word of the Lord in thy mouth is true.


Hearken to me, you that know what is just, my people who have my law in your heart: fear ye not the reproach of men and be not afraid of their blasphemies.


Then king Sedecias swore to Jeremias, in private, saying: As the Lord liveth, that made us this soul, I will not put thee to death, nor will I deliver thee into the hands of these men that seek thy life.


And they sent to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying: Master, we know that thou art a true speaker, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou dost not regard the person of men.


And salutations in the market place, and to be called by men, Rabbi.


But be not you called Rabbi. For one is your master; and all you are brethren.


Who coming, say to him: Master, we know that thou art a true speaker, and carest not for any man; for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar; or shall we not give it?


And Jesus turning, and seeing them following him, saith to them: What seek you? Who said to him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?


But if I do, though you will not believe me, believe the works: that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.


And whereas he had done so many miracles before them, they believed not in him:


Do you not believe, that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, I speak not of myself. But the Father who abideth in me, he doth the works.


If I had not done among them the works that no other man hath done, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father.


This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee; and manifested his glory, and his disciples believed in him.


Jesus saith to her: Mary. She turning, saith to him: Rabboni (which is to say, Master).


And they came to John, and said to him: Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond the Jordan, to whom thou gavest testimony, behold he baptizeth, and all men come to him.


In the mean time the disciples prayed him, saying: Rabbi, eat.


But I have a greater testimony than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to perfect; the works themselves, which I do, give testimony of me, that the Father hath sent me.


And a great multitude followed him, because they saw the miracles which he did on them that were diseased.


But of the people many believed in him, and said: When the Christ cometh, shall he do more miracles, than these which this man doth?


Some therefore of the Pharisees said: This man is not of God, who keepeth not the sabbath. But others said: How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.


Jesus of Nazareth: how God anointed him with the Holy Ghost, and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.


Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you, by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God did by him, in the midst of you, as you also know:


And many of the brethren in the Lord, growing confident by my bands, are much more bold to speak the word of God without fear.


Then Gedeon, taking ten men of his servants, did as the Lord had commanded him. But fearing his father's house, and the men of that city, he would not do it by day, but did all by night.
