Thou therefore gird up thy loins and arise, and speak to them all that I command thee. Be not afraid at their presence: for I will make thee not to fear their countenance.


And the Lord said to me: Say not: I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I shall command thee, thou shalt speak.


Then Jeremias came from Topheth, whither the Lord had sent him to prophecy: and he stood in the court of the house of the Lord and said to all people:


The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream: and he that hath my word, let him speak my word with truth. What hath the chaff to do with the wheat, saith the Lord?


Which Jeremias the prophet spoke to all the people of Juda and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying:


And Jeremias the prophet said to Hananias the prophet, in the presence of the priests and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the Lord:


And Baruch read out of the volume the words of Jeremias, in the house of the Lord, in the treasury of Gamarias the son of Saphan the scribe, in the upper court, in the entry of the new gate of the house of the Lord, in the hearing of all the people.


And Jeremias the prophet said to them: I have heard you. Behold, I will pray to the Lord your God according to your words: and whatsoever thing he shall answer me, I will declare it to you, and I will hide nothing from you.


Stand in the gate of the house of the Lord, and proclaim there this word, and say: Hear ye the word of the Lord, all ye men of Juda that enter in at these gates to adore the Lord.


And thou shalt speak to them all these words, but they will not hearken to thee: and thou shalt call them, but they will not answer thee.


And he said to me: Son of man, receive in thy heart and hear with thy ears all the words that I speak to thee:


So thou, O son of man, I have made thee a watchman to the house of Israel: therefore thou shalt hear the word from my mouth, and shalt tell it them from me.


And this man said to me: Son of man, see with thy eyes, and hear with thy ears, and set thy heart upon all that I shall shew thee: for thou art brought hither that they may be shewn to thee: declare all that thou seest, to the house of Israel.


Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.


And he was teaching daily in the temple. And the chief priests and the scribes and the rulers of the people sought to destroy him:


Jesus answered him: I have spoken openly to the world: I have always taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither all the Jews resort; and in secret I have spoken nothing.


And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came to him, and sitting down he taught them.


How I have kept back nothing that was profitable to you, but have preached it to you, and taught you publicly, and from house to house,


For I have not spared to declare unto you all the counsel of God.


But one came and told them: Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple standing, and teaching the people.


And every day they ceased not in the temple, and from house to house, to teach and preach Christ Jesus.


What I command thee, that only do thou to the Lord: neither add any thing, nor diminish.


But you shall come to the place, which the Lord your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, and to dwell in it.


You shall not add to the word that I speak to you: neither shall you take away from it. Keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.


He left out nothing of those things which Moses had commanded: but he repeated all before all the people of Israel, with the women and children and strangers that dwelt among them.


And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from these things that are written in this book.
