And tell them: Thus saith the king: Put this man in prison, and feed him with bread of affliction, and water of distress, till I return in peace.


He will not always be angry: nor will he threaten for ever.


To the righteous a light is risen up in darkness: he is merciful, and compassionate and just.


For thou shalt eat the labours of thy hands: blessed art thou, and it shall be well with thee.


And thus you shall eat it. You shall gird your reins, and you shall have shoes on your feet, holding staves in your hands, and you shall eat in haste; for it is the Phase (that is the Passage) of the Lord.


And you shall observe the feast of the unleavened bread: for in this same day I will bring forth your army out of the land of Egypt; and you shall keep this day in your generations by a perpetual observance.


And they baked the meal, which a little before they had brought out of Egypt, in dough. And they made earth cakes unleavened, for it could not be leavened, the Egyptians pressing them to depart, and not suffering them to make any stay: neither did they think of preparing any meat.


And they shall eat the flesh that night roasted at the fire: and unleavened bread with wild lettuce.


Thou shalt keep the feast of the unleavened bread. Seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee in the time of the month of the new corn: for in the month of the springtime thou camest out from Egypt.


For you shall not go out in a tumult: neither shall you make haste by flight. For the Lord will go before you: and the God of Israel will gather you together.


And the fifteenth day of the same month is the solemnity of the unleavened bread of the Lord. Seven days shall you eat unleavened bread.


And I will pour out upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace, and of prayers: and they shall look upon me, whom they have pierced: and they shall mourn for him as one mourneth for an only son, and they shall grieve over him, as the manner is to grieve for the death of the firstborn.


And on the fifteenth day the solemn feast. Seven days shall they eat unleavened bread.


In the second month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, they shall eat it with unleavened bread and wild lettuce.


And taking bread, he gave thanks, and brake; and gave to them, saying: This is my body, which is given for you. Do this for a commemoration of me.


Therefore let us feast, not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.


And thou shalt sacrifice the phase to the Lord thy God, of sheep, and of oxen, in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, that his name may dwell there.


Keep thyself therefore, and thy soul carefully. Forget not the words that thy eyes have seen: and let them not go out of thy heart all the days of thy life. Thou shalt teach them to thy sons and to thy grandsons,


And you became followers of us, and of the Lord; receiving the word in much tribulation, with joy of the Holy Ghost:


You shall answer them: The waters of the Jordan ran off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, when it passed over the same. Therefore were these stones set for a monument of the children of Israel for ever.
