In his days Edom revolted, from being under Juda, and made themselves a king.


And all these thy servants shall come down to me, and shall worship me, saying: Go forth thou, and all the people that is under thee. After that we will go out.


And Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea, and they went forth into the wilderness of Sur: and they marched three days through the wilderness, and found no water.


Then all the multitude of the children of Israel setting forward from the desert of Sin, by their mansions, according to the word of the Lord, encamped in Raphidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.


And the people, wanting water, came together against Moses and Aaron.


Why have you brought out the church of the Lord into the wilderness, that both we and our cattle should die?


And speaking against God end Moses, they said: Why didst thou bring us out of Egypt, to die in the wilderness? There is no bread, nor have we any waters: our soul now loatheth this very light food.


And departing from Alus, they pitched their tents in Raphidim, where the people wanted water to drink.


And he called unto him Zabulon and Nephtali, and went up with ten thousand fighting men, having Debbora in his company.
