Also, they brought barley and straw for the horses and beasts of burden, to the place where the king was, just as it was appointed to them.


Then Elisha said: "Listen to the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord: Tomorrow, at this time, one measure of fine wheat flour will be one silver coin, and two measures of barley will be one silver coin, at the gate of Samaria."


Judah and the land of Israel, these were your peddlers of the best grain; they offered balsam, and honey, and oil, and resins at your festivals.


They answered him, "We have nothing here, except five loaves and two fish."


Do you not yet understand, nor remember, the five loaves among the five thousand men, and how many containers you took up?


And he said to them: "How many loaves do you have? Go and see." And when they had found out, they said, "Five, and two fish."


when I broke the five loves among the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments you took up?" They said to him, "Twelve."


But he said to them, "You give them something to eat." And they said, "There is with us no more than five loaves and two fish, unless perhaps we are to go and buy food for this entire multitude."


And then Martha said to Jesus: "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.


Therefore, when Mary had arrived to where Jesus was, seeing him, she fell down at his feet, and she said to him. "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died."


Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish that you have just now caught."


And Jesus approached, and he took bread, and he gave it to them, and similarly with the fish.


Then, when they climbed down to the land they saw burning coals prepared, and fish already placed above them, and bread.


Therefore, Jesus took the bread, and when he had given thanks, he distributed it to those who were sitting down to eat; similarly also, from the fish, as much as they wanted.


Philip answered him, "Two hundred denarii of bread would not be sufficient for each of them to receive even a little."


For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, he became poor for your sakes, so that through his poverty, you might become rich.


butter from the herd, and milk from the sheep, with fat from the lambs, and with rams and goats from the sons of Bashan, with the kernel of the wheat, and so that he might drink the undiluted blood of the grape.


a land of crops, barley, and vineyards, in which fig and pomegranate and olive trees spring up, a land of oil and honey.


And I heard something like a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A double measure of wheat for a denarius, and three double measures of barley for a denarius, but do no harm to wine and oil."
