And the man was enriched beyond limit, and he had many flocks, women servants and men servants, camels and donkeys.


And so the gifts went before him, but he himself lodged that night in the camp.


And Jacob said: "I beg you, let it not be so. But if I have found favor in your eyes, receive a small present from my hands. For I have looked upon your face as I would look upon the countenance of God. Be gracious to me,


he said, "Let us go on together, and I will accompany you on your journey."


But he said, "I have plenty, my brother; let these be for yourself."


And they urged him, until he acquiesced and said, "Send them." And they sent fifty men. And after they had searched for three days, they did not find him.


And Naaman said, "It is better that you accept two talents." And he urged him, and he bound the two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of clothing. And he set them upon two of his servants, who carried them before him.


And the lord said to the servant: 'Go out to the highways and hedges, and compel them to enter, so that my house may be filled.


And so, let no one glory in men.


as if sorrowful and yet always rejoicing; as if needy and yet enriching many; as if having nothing and possessing everything.


But I have everything in abundance. I have been filled up, having received from Epaphroditus the things that you sent; this is an odor of sweetness, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.


For the exercise of the body is somewhat useful. But piety is useful in all things, holding the promise of life, in the present and in the future.


But she answered: "Give a blessing to me. You have given to me a southern and dry land; join to it also a watered land." And so Caleb gave to her the watered land above and below it.


But she responded: "Give a blessing to me. For you have given me a dry land. Also give a watered land." Therefore, Caleb gave to her the upper watered land and the lower watered land.


Because of this, accept this blessing, which your handmaid has brought to you, my lord. And give it to the young men who follow you, my lord.


Then David went to Ziklag, and he sent gifts from the prey to the elders of Judah, his neighbors, saying, "Receive a blessing from the prey of the enemies of the Lord,"
