But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.
And he came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever left her, and she began to serve them.
Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and touched him and said to him, “I will; be clean.”
Taking her by the hand he said to her, “Talitha cumi,” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.”
And he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village, and when he had spit on his eyes and laid his hands on him, he asked him, “Do you see anything?”
And after crying out and convulsing him terribly, it came out, and the boy was like a corpse, so that most of them said, “He is dead.”
And when he had entered the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?”
The tribune took him by the hand, and going aside asked him privately, “What is it that you have to tell me?”
And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong.
And he gave her his hand and raised her up. Then, calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.
