The jar of flour was not spent, neither did the jug of oil become empty, according to the word of the Lord that he spoke by Elijah.

And to the centurion Jesus said, “Go; let it be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.

As he was going down, his servants met him and told him that his son was recovering.
He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back.
