As the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, shineth in the morning without clouds; and as the grass springeth out of the earth by rain.
In the cheerfulness of the king's countenance is life: and his clemency is like the latter rain.
As the roaring of a lion, so also is the anger of a king: and his cheerfulness as the dew upon the grass.
And I will make it desolate. It shall not be pruned and it shall not be digged: but briers and thorns shall come up. And I will command the clouds to rain no rain upon it.
