And bringing two men, sons of the devil, they made them sit against him. And they, like men of the devil, bore witness against him before the people, saying: Naboth hath blasphemed God and the king. Wherefore they brought him forth without the city, and stoned him to death.
He was offered because it was his own will, and he opened not his mouth. He shall be led as a sheep to the slaughter, and shall be dumb as a lamb before his shearer, and he shall not open his mouth.
And the Lord said to Moses: Let that man die. Let all the multitude stone him without the camp.
And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to be mocked, and scourged, and crucified, and the third day he shall rise again.
You know that after two days shall be the pasch, and the son of man shall be delivered up to be crucified:
