Then Joab arose, and came to Absalom to his house, and said: Why have thy servants set my corn on fire?
And Joab said: Not as thou wilt, but will set upon him in thy sight. So he took three lances in his hand, and thrust them into the heart of Absalom. And whilst he yet panted for life, sticking on the oak,
And he said to them: Throw her down headlong. And they threw her down. And the wall was sprinkled with her blood: and the hoofs of the horses trod upon her.
And Samson answered him: From this day I shall be blameless in what I do against the Philistines; for I will do you evils.
