Then the disciples approached Jesus privately and said, "Why were we unable to cast him out?"
And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go, and just as you have believed, so let it be done for you." And the servant was healed at that very hour.
And behold, they brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, "Be strengthened in faith, son; your sins are forgiven you."
Then he touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith, so let it be done for you."
Then Jesus said to him, "Go, your faith has made you whole." And immediately he saw, and he followed him on the way.
And he said to her: "Daughter, your faith has saved you. Go in peace, and be healed from your wound."
Then the father realized that it was at the same hour that Jesus said to him, "Your son lives." And both he and his entire household believed.

Now she behaved in this way for many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, "I command you, in the name of Jesus Christ, to go out from her." And it went away in that same hour.
For this was announced to us in a similar manner as to them. But the mere hearing of the word did not benefit them, since it was not joined together with a faith in those things that they heard.
