And he admonished him, and he promptly sent him away.


And when he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And it happened that, as they were going, they were cleansed.


And he instructed him that he should tell no one, "But go, show yourself to the priest, and make the offering for your cleansing, just as Moses has commanded, as a testimony for them."


And then the tribune dismissed the young man, instructing him not to tell anyone that he had made known these things to him.


For whatever was written, was written to teach us, so that, through patience and the consolation of the Scriptures, we might have hope.


Now all of these things happened to them as an example, and so they have been written for our correction, because the final age has fallen upon us.
