His parents responded to them and said: "We know that this is our son and that he was born blind.
And they recognized him, that he was the same one who was sitting for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. And they were filled with awe and amazement at what had happened to him.
Also, seeing the man who had been cured standing with them, they were unable to say anything to contradict them.
