Whoever is merciful to the poor lends to the Lord. And he will repay him for his efforts.
and if he has not grieved any man, but has restored the collateral to the debtor, if he has seized nothing by violence, has given his bread to the hungry, and has covered the naked with a garment,
Whoever asks of you, give to him. And if anyone would borrow from you, do not turn away from him.
For the poor, you have with you always. And whenever you wish, you are able to do good to them. But you do not have me always.
