And David said, "Do you think that there could be anyone left from the house of Saul, so that I might show mercy to him because of Jonathan?"
But the prison guard reported these words to Paul: "The magistrates have sent to have you released. Now therefore, depart. Go in peace."

Therefore, Jonathan formed a covenant with the house of David. And the Lord required it from the hands of the enemies of David.
Therefore, they both struck a pact before the Lord. And David stayed in the woods. But Jonathan returned to his house.
Then David received from her hand all that she had brought to him. And he said to her: "Go in peace to your own house. Behold, I have heeded your voice, and I have honored your face."
