Those who trust in YHWH are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.


But I trust in your lovingkindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.


I cry with my voice to YHWH. With my voice, I ask YHWH for mercy.


Y’all must kiss the Son, otherwise ʜᴇ will be angry, and y’all will perish on the way, For ʜɪꜱ wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in ʜɪᴍ.


How precious is your lovingkindness, God! The children of humanity take refuge under the shadow of your wings.


Be merciful to me, God, for a man wants to swallow me up. All day long, he attacks and oppresses me.


Do y’all truly speak righteousness, mighty ones? Do y’all judge blamelessly, children of humanity?


Deliver me from my enemies, my God. Set me on high from those who rise up against me.


I will dwell in your tent forever. I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah.


For you have been my help. I will rejoice in the shadow of your wings.


We give thanks to you, God. We give thanks, for your Name is near. Men tell about your wondrous works.


Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, YHWH, have not abandoned those who seek you.


Hᴇ who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.


Hᴇ will cover you with ʜɪꜱ feathers. Under ʜɪꜱ wings you will take refuge. Hɪꜱ faithfulness is your shield and rampart.


Because you have made YHWH your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,


For in a very little while, my indignation against you will be completed, and my anger will be directed to his destruction.”


Come, my people, enter into your rooms, and shut your doors behind you. Hide yourself for a little moment, until the indignation is past.


Who among y’all fears YHWH and obeys the voice of ʜɪꜱ servant? Let the one who walks in darkness and has no light, trust in the name of YHWH, and rely on his God.


If those days had not been cut short, no life would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened.


“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I longed to gather your children together, like a hen gathers her own chicks under her wings, but y’all refused!


Very truly I tell y’all that y’all will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. Y’all will be sorrowful, but y’all’s sorrow will be turned into joy.


I prayed to YHWH, and said, “Lord YHWH, don’t destroy your people and your inheritance that you have redeemed through your greatness, that you have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.


Hᴇ will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will no longer exist. Mourning, crying, and pain will no longer exist. The first things have passed away.”


I told him, “My lord, you know.” He said to me, “These are the ones who came out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.


May YHWH repay your work. And may a full reward be given to you from YHWH, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”


David therefore departed from there and escaped to Adullam’s cave. When his brothers and all his father’s house heard it, they went down there to him.


He came to the sheep pens by the way, where there was a cave; and Saul went in to relieve himself. Now David and his men were staying in the innermost parts of the cave.


David’s men said to him, “Look, this is the day about which YHWH said to you, ‘I will deliver your enemy into your hand, and you will do to him as it seems good to you.’” Then David arose and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe secretly.


David also arose afterward, and went out of the cave and cried after Saul, saying, “My lord the king!” When Saul looked behind him, David bowed with his face to the earth, and showed respect.


David said to Abishai, “Don’t destroy him, for who can stretch out his hand against YHWH’s anointed, and be guiltless?”
