Unrighteous witnesses rise up. They ask me about things that I don’t know about.


Yes, for your sake we are killed all day long. We are regarded as sheep for the slaughter.


He has swallowed up death forever! Lord YHWH will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for YHWH has spoken it.


“Y’all listen to me, those who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law. Y’all must not fear the reproach of men, and don’t be dismayed at their insults.


Hear the word of YHWH, y’all who tremble at ʜɪꜱ word: “Your* brothers who hate y’all, who cast y’all out for my name’s sake, have said, ‘Let YHWH be glorified, that we may see y’all’s joy;’ but it is those who will be disappointed.


Then Jeremiah said, “That is false! I am not defecting to the Chaldeans.” But he didn’t listen to him, so Irijah seized Jeremiah and brought him to the officials.


And y’all will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, as a testimony to them and to the ethnic groups.


Y’all will be hated by everyone for my name’s sake, but the one who endures to the end will be saved.


It is enough for a disciple to be like their teacher, and the servant like their master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more the members of his household!


Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.


Everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands for my name’s sake will receive one hundred times and will inherit eternal life.


“Then they will deliver y’all to oppression and will kill y’all. Y’all will be hated by all the ethnic groups because of my name.

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it; and whoever wants to lose their life for my sake and the sake of the gospel will save it.


But before all these things, they will lay their hands on y’all and will persecute y’all, delivering y’all up to synagogues and prisons, bringing y’all before kings and governors for my name’s sake.


Y’all will be hated by everyone for my name’s sake,


Blessed are y’all when humans hate you*, and when they exclude and mock y’all, and reject y’all’s name as evil because of the Son of Humanity.


For whoever desires to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for my sake will save it.


But they will do all these things to y’all for my name’s sake, because they don’t know him who sent me.


They insulted him and said, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.


I will show him how much he must suffer on behalf of my name.”


Just as it is written, “For your sake we are being put to death all day long. We were considered sheep for the slaughter.”


We are fools through Christ, but y’all are wise in Christ. We are weak, but y’all are strong. Y’all are distinguished, but we are dishonored.


For we who are alive are constantly being given over to death for Jesus’s sake, so that the life of Jesus may also be displayed in our mortal flesh.


For it has been granted to y’all on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf,


When he was insulted, he did not retaliate. When he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he committed himself to ʜɪᴍ who judges righteously.


If y’all are insulted for the name of Christ, y’all are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on y’all.


You have perseverance, you have endured for the sake of my name, and you have not grown weary.
