Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, YHWH’s assembly, and in the audience of our God, y’all are to observe and seek after all the commandments of YHWH y’all’s God, so that y’all may possess this good land and leave it for an inheritance to y’all’s descendants forever.


You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for YHWH searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.


He went out to meet Asa, and said to him, “Y’all listen to me, Asa and all Judah and Benjamin! YHWH is with y’all while y’all are with ʜɪᴍ. If y’all seek him, ʜᴇ will be found by y’all, but if y’all abandon him, ʜᴇ will abandon y’all.


For I was ashamed to ask of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the way, because we had spoken to the king, saying, “The hand of our God is on all those who seek him, for good; but his power and his wrath is against all those who forsake him.”


if they break my statutes, and don’t keep my commandments;


But rebels and sinners will both be broken, and those who forsake YHWH will come to an end.


But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. Therefore he turned and became their enemy, and he himself fought against them.


YHWH, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you will be disappointed. Those who depart from me will be written in the earth, because they have forsaken YHWH, the spring of living waters.


“But when the righteous turns away from their righteousness, and commits iniquity, and does the same abominations that the wicked doe, should that person live? None of the righteous deeds they did will be remembered. In their trespass and his sin, in them he will die.


But God turned away and gave them over to worship the stars of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets, ‘House of Israel, for forty years in the wilderness, was it to me that y’all brought offerings and sacrifices?


When you have produced children and grandchildren, and y’all have been in the land a long time, and then y’all corrupt yourselves* and make a idol in the form of anything, and y’all do what is evil in YHWH your God’s sight to provoke ʜɪᴍ to anger,


I call heaven and the land to witness against y’all today, that y’all will soon perish-perish from the land that y’all are crossing over the Jordan to possess. Y’all will not live long y’all’s in it, but will be destroyed-destroyed.


But my righteous one will live by faith. But in the one who shrinks back, my soul takes no pleasure.”


The people said to Joshua, “No, but we will worship YHWH.”


But if y’all will not listen to YHWH’s voice, but rebel against the commandment of YHWH, then YHWH’s hand will be against y’all, as it was against y’all’s ancestors.


But if y’all do evil-evil, y’all will be consumed, both you* and your* king.”
