I wait for your salvation, O YHWH.


A false balance is an abomination to YHWH, but accurate weights are his delight.


Honest balances and scales belong to YHWH’s; all the weights in the bag are ʜɪꜱ work.


The people will be oppressed, everyone by another, and everyone by his neighbor. The child will proudly defy the old, and the nobody against the honorable.


YHWH says: “Y’all are to maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is near and my righteousness will soon be revealed.


and say, ‘Lord YHWH says to Jerusalem: “Your origin and your birth is in the land of the Canaanite. your father was an Amorite was, and your mother was a Hittite.


The people of the land have used oppression and exercised robbery. Yes, they have troubled the poor and needy, and have oppressed the foreigner wrongfully.


By your great wisdom and by your trading you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches—”


Y’all must take words with you, and return to YHWH. Y’all must say to him, “Forgive all our sins, and receive us graciously, so we offer bulls as we vowed with our lips.


“Yet even now,” says YHWH, “y’all must turn to me with y’all’s whole heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.”


They trample the heads of the poor into the dust of the earth and deny justice to the oppressed. A man and his father use the same maiden, to profane my holy name.


Y’all must proclaim in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, “Y’all must assemble on the mountains of Samaria, and see what unrest is in her, and what oppression is among them.”


Y’all must listen to this word, cows of Bashan, who are on the mountain of Samaria, who oppress the poor, who crush the needy, who tell their husbands, “Bring us drinks!”


Therefore, because y’all trample on the poor and take a wheat tax, though y’all have built houses of cut stone, y’all will never dwell in them. Y’all have planted pleasant vineyards, but y’all will not drink their wine.


Woe to those who devise iniquity and work evil on their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.


The godly man has perished out of the earth, and there is no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; every man hunts his brother with a net.


Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to YHWH Almighty; and all those who sacrifice will come and take of them, and cook in them. In that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of YHWH Almighty.


He said, “This is Wickedness;” and he threw her down into the middle of the measuring basket, and he threw the lead weight over its opening.


“This is what YHWH Almighty has spoken, ‘Y’all must judge with true judgment and show kindness and compassion to everyone.


I will come near to y’all for judgment. I will be a swift witness against sorcerers, adulterers, perjurers, and those who exploit laborers, widows, and the fatherless, and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don’t fear me,” says YHWH Almighty.


He said to the dove sellers, “Y’all get these things out of here! Y’all must not make my Father’s house into a marketplace!”


Look! The wages of the laborers who mowed y’all’s fields, which y’all have kept back by fraud, cry out against y’all. The cries of the harvesters have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies.


Here I am. Y’all testify against me before YHWH and before ʜɪꜱ anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Of whose hand have I taken a bribe to make me blind my eyes? I will restore it to y’all.”
