The men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who lived in his city, did as Jezebel had instructed them in the letters which she had written and sent to them.


Micaiah said, “As YHWH lives, what YHWH says to me, that I will speak.”


King Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, “On the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, the evening meal offering, the king’s burnt offering and his meal offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, their meal offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle on it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice; but the bronze altar will be for me to inquire by.”


Urijah the priest did so, according to all that King Ahaz commanded.


Do y’all truly speak righteousness, mighty ones? Do y’all judge blamelessly, children of humanity?


But the midwives feared God, and didn’t do what the king of Egypt commanded them, but they let the boys live.


Then Jeremiah spoke to all the princes and to all the people, saying, “YHWH sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that y’all have heard.


But if ʜᴇ does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up.”

They said to him, “Caesar’s.” Then he said to them, “So then y’all are to give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”


Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Y’all Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.”


Y’all must stop judging according to appearance, but instead judge with righteous judgment.”


Now when they observed the fearless confidence of Peter and John, and it grasped them that they were uneducated, ordinary humans, they marveled, and they recognized that they had been with Jesus.


“We ordered y’all not to teach in this name. But look, y’all have filled Jerusalem with your* teaching, and y’all are determined to bring this man’s blood down on us.”


But Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than humans.


I am speaking as to wise people. Y’all must judge what I say.


But we have renounced the secret and shameful things, not walking in deceitfulness nor distorting the word of God, but by the clear declaration of truth we commend ourselves to every human’s conscience in the sight of God.


Children, y’all are to obey your* parents in the Lord, for this is right.


This is excellent and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,


By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw that he was an extraordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.


haven’t y’all discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
