Please let a little water be brought so you can wash your feet, and make yourselves comfortable under the tree.


Then he said, “Here, please my lords, please turn aside to your servant’s house, spend the night and wash your feet. Then you can get up early and go on your way.” But they said, “No. We will spend the night in the open plaza.”


and the man brought the men into Joseph’s house, gave them water and they washed their feet. He also provided fodder for their donkeys.


Then portions were brought to them from before him—and Benjamin’s portion was five times larger than any of their portions. Yet they drank and made merry with him.

Oy , those who go to great depths to hide their plans from Adonai! Their works are in the dark. They say, “Who sees us? Who knows us?”


There is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known.

No creature is hidden from Him, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
