let now a little water be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:


and he said, Behold now, my lords, turn aside, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your way. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.


And the man brought the men into Joseph’s house, and gave them water, and they washed their feet; and he gave their asses provender.


And he took and sent messes unto them from before him: but Benjamin’s mess was five times so much as any of theirs. And they drank, and were merry with him.


They speak falsehood every one with his neighbor: With flattering lip, and with a double heart, do they speak.


Will not God search this out? For he knoweth the secrets of the heart.


His mouth was smooth as butter, But his heart was war: His words were softer than oil, Yet were they drawn swords.


Woe unto them that hide deep their counsel from Jehovah, and whose works are in the dark, and that say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?


But there is nothing covered up, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.


And turning to the woman, he said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thy house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath wetted my feet with her tears, and wiped them with her hair.


And there is no creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
