‘If my house were not right with God, surely he would not have made with me an everlasting covenant, arranged and secured in every part; surely he would not bring to fruition my salvation and grant me my every desire.


Nevertheless, the righteous will hold to their ways, and those with clean hands will grow stronger.


The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.


I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily. Like a cedar of Lebanon he will send down his roots;


People will dwell again in his shade; they will flourish like the corn, they will blossom like the vine – Israel’s fame will be like the wine of Lebanon.

We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever! Amen.
