And they do not say in their heart, Let us now fear Jehovah our God, who gives both the former and the latter rain in its season; He reserves to us the appointed weeks of the harvest.


Then we shall know, if we follow on to know Jehovah. His going out is prepared as the morning; and He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth.


Be glad then, sons of Zion, and rejoice in Jehovah your God. For He has given you the former rain according to righteousness, and He will cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain in the first month.


Ask rain from Jehovah in the time of the latter rain. Jehovah shall make storm clouds, and He gives them showers of rain, grass to everyone in the field.


For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He shall reward each one according to his works.


Truly I say to you, There are some standing here who shall not taste of death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.


For as the lightning comes out of the east and shines even to the west, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man.


Therefore you also be ready, for in that hour you think not, the Son of Man comes.


I say to you that He will avenge them speedily. Yet when the Son of Man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?


And then they shall see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.


But those on the good ground are the ones who, in an honest and good heart, having heard the Word, keep it and bring forth fruit with patience.


Jesus said to him, If I desire that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.


Then this saying went abroad among the brothers, that that disciple should not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him, He shall not die, but, If I desire that he remain until I come, what is that to you?


For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, so that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.


indeed to those who with patience in good work are seeking for glory, and honor, and incorruptibility, everlasting life.


so that you come behind in no gift, waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.


For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness out of faith.


But we should not lose heart in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not faint.


I will give the rain of your land in its due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain and your wine and your oil.


being empowered with all power, according to the might of His glory, to all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness,


remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father,


For what is our hope or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are you not even to be in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?


in order to establish your hearts blameless in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.


And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.


Do not speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against his brother, and who judges his brother, speaks against the Law and judges the Law. But if you judge the Law, you are not a doer of the Law, but a judge.


My brothers, take the prophets who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering ill, and of patience.


Your gold and silver have corroded, and their poison will be a witness against you, and will eat your flesh as fire. You heaped treasure in the last days.


and saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.
