And the word of Jehovah was to them, precept to precept, precept to precept; line to line, line to line; a little there, a little there, so that they shall go and they stumbled backward, and were broken and snared and taken.


Son of man, propose an enigma and use a parable to the house of Israel;


Every one hearing, and not understanding, the evil one comes, and carries off that sown in his heart. This is he having sown by the way.


And in men's sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares in the midst of the wheat, and went away.


Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of the heavens is like a kernel of mustard, which a man taking, sowed in his field:


Another parable spake he to them; The kingdom of the heavens is like to leaven, which a woman having taken, hid in three measures of wheaten flour, till the whole was leavened.

By the hope laid up for you in the heavens, which ye heard before in the word of the truth of the good news;


Begotten again, not of corrupted seed, but uncorrupted, by the word of God, living and remaining forever.
