14 Those people are just like sheep.\par The grave will be their pen.\par Death will be their shepherd.\par Then on that morning\par the good people will be the winners\par as the bodies of those \{proud\} people\par slowly rot in the grave,\par far away from their fancy houses.\par

In the end, both of those people\par will lie together in the dirt.\par The worms will cover them both.\par


I know you will lead me to my death.\par Every living person must die.\par


The ropes of their tent are pulled up,\par


God was angry,\par so the decision was “death.”\par But he showed his love,\par and gave me “life.”\par At night,\par I lay crying.\par The next morning,\par I was happy and singing!\par

But you know my heart, Lord.\par You see me and test my mind.\par Drag those evil people away\par like sheep to be butchered.\par Choose them for the day of slaughter.\par


But God’s special people will receive the kingdom. And they will have the kingdom forever and ever.’


The little horn kept killing God’s special people until the Ancient King {\cf2\super [81]} came and judged him. The Ancient King announced a judgment on the little horn. This judgment helped God’s special people. And they received the kingdom.


Let’s learn about the Lord.\par Let’s try very hard to know the Lord.\par We know he is coming,\par like we know the dawn is coming.\par The Lord will come to us like the rain,\par like the spring rain that waters the ground.”\par


Then you will walk on those evil people—they will be like ashes under your feet. I will make those things happen at that time of judgment.” The Lord All-Powerful said these things!

Surely you know that God’s people will judge the world. So if you will judge the world, then surely you are able to judge small things \{like this\}.
