You did these bad things,\par and I said nothing.\par So you thought\par that I was just like you.\par Well, I won’t be quiet any longer!\par I will make it very clear to you,\par and I will criticize you to your face!\par


\{They said they loved him,\} but they lied.\par Those people were not serious.\par


Fear is like a trap. But if you trust in the Lord, you will be safe.


Sometimes people are not immediately punished for the bad things they do. Their punishment is slow to come. And that makes other people want to do bad things too.


An evil person will not learn to do good\par if you show him only kindness.\par An evil person will do bad things,\par even if he lives in a good world.\par That evil person might never see\par the Lord’s greatness.\par


These people are like children that refuse to obey \{their parents\}. They lie and refuse to listen to the Lord’s teachings.


“For a long time I have said nothing.\par I controlled myself\par and didn’t say anything.\par But now I will cry out\par like a woman giving birth to a child.\par I will breath very hard and loud.\par


That man does not know what he is doing. He is confused, so his heart leads him the wrong way. That man can’t save himself. And he can’t see that he is doing wrong. That man will not say, “This statue I am holding is a false god.”


You said,\par ‘I will live forever.\par I will always be The Queen.’\par You didn’t even notice the bad things\par you did to those people.\par You didn’t think about what would happen.\par


A young woman doesn’t forget her jewelry.\par A bride doesn’t forget the sash for her dress.\par But my people have forgotten me\par too many times to count.\par


You can hear crying on the bare hills.\par The people of Israel are crying\par and praying for mercy.\par They became very evil.\par They forgot the Lord their God.\par


But King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah, “But I am afraid of the men of Judah that have already gone over to the side of the Babylonian army. I am afraid that the soldiers will give me to those men of Judah and they will treat me badly and hurt me.”


Ephraim surrounded me with false gods.\par The people of Israel turned against me. {\cf2\super [124]} \{And they were destroyed!\}\par But Judah still walks with El. {\cf2\super [125]} \par Judah is true to the holy ones. {\cf2\super [126]} ”\par


So I was afraid. I went and hid your money in the ground. Here is the one bag of money you gave me.’


Peter said, “Ananias, why did you let Satan (the devil) rule your heart? You lied and tried to deceive (fool) the Holy Spirit. {\cf2\super [85]} You sold your field, but why did you keep part of the money for yourself?


The Man of Evil will come by the power of Satan (the devil). He will have great power, and he will do many different false miracles, signs, and wonders. {\cf2\super [6]}


Those teachings come through people that tell lies and trick other people. Those bad people cannot see what is right and what is wrong. It is like their understanding was destroyed by a hot iron.


But the people who are cowards, people who refuse to believe, people who do terrible things, people who kill, people who sin sexually, people who do evil magic, people who worship idols, {\cf2\super [159]} and people who tell lies—all those people will have a place in the lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”


Outside the city are the dogs (bad people), people who do evil magic, people who sin sexually, people who murder, people who worship idols, {\cf2\super [175]} and people who love lies and tell lies.
