God does amazing things\par so that we will remember\par that the Lord is kind and merciful.\par


Lord, you are my God and I thank you.\par I praise you!\par


I praise you my God and King.\par I bless your name forever and ever.\par


I will praise the Lord all my life.\par I will sing praises to him all my life.\par


My life is in your hands.\par Save me from my enemies.\par Some people are chasing me. {\cf2\super [192]} \par Save me from them.\par


Lord, our God, you have done many wonderful things!\par You have wonderful plans for us.\par No person could list them all!\par I will tell again and again about\par those things\par that are too many to count.\par


Lord, you made me understand this: {\cf2\super [250]} \par You don’t really want\par sacrifices {\cf2\super [251]} and grain offerings.\par You don’t really want\par burnt offerings and sin offerings.\par


God says,\par “Stop fighting\par and learn that I am God!\par I defeat the nations!\par I control the world!”\par


God says,\par “I choose the time for judgment.\par I will judge fairly.\par


And we will not forget the story.\par Our people will be telling the story to the last generation.\par We will all praise the Lord,\par and tell about the amazing things he did.\par


I will sing forever about the Lord’s love.\par I will sing about his loyalty\par forever and ever!\par


Sing a new song to the Lord\par because he has done new\par and amazing things!\par


Praise the Lord our God,\par and worship his holy footstool. {\cf2\super [534]} \par


The Lord is my strength. He saves me, and I sing songs of praise to him. [96] The Lord is my God, and I praise him. The Lord is the God of my ancestors, [97] and I honor him.


At that time, you will say:\par “I praise you Lord!\par You have been angry at me.\par But don’t be angry with me now!\par Show your love to me.”\par


Lord, you are our God.\par But in the past, we followed other lords. {\cf2\super [242]} \par We belonged to other masters.\par But now we want people to remember only one name, your name!\par


But Lord, we are waiting for your\par way of justice.\par Our souls want to remember\par you and your name.\par


This lesson comes from the Lord All-Powerful. The Lord gives wonderful advice. God is truly wise.


People of Jacob, this is true!\par Israel, you should believe this!\par So why do you say:\par “The Lord can’t see the way I live.\par God will not find me and punish me.”\par


“In the beginning, I told you about the things that will happen in the end. A long time ago, I told you things that had not yet happened. When I plan something—that thing happens. I do the things I want to do.


And I am calling a man from the east. That man will be like an eagle. He will come from a faraway country, and he will do the things I decide to do. I am telling you that I will do this, and I will do it. I made him, and I will bring him!


I said,\par “I worked hard for nothing.\par I wore myself out,\par but I did nothing useful.\par I used all my power,\par but I did not really do anything.\par So, the Lord must decide\par what to do with me.\par God must decide my reward.\par


The Lord made me in my mother’s body\par so I could be his servant,\par and lead Jacob and Israel back to him.\par The Lord will honor me.\par I will get my strength from my God.”\par


“The Lord makes me very, very happy.\par My whole self is happy in my God.\par The Lord put the clothes of salvation on me.\par These clothes are like the nice clothes\par a man wears at his wedding.\par The Lord put the coat of goodness on me.\par This coat is like the beautiful clothes\par a woman wears at her wedding.\par


Then Isaiah said, “Family of David, {\cf2\super [85]} listen very carefully! You test the people’s patience—and this is not important to you. So, now you test my God’s patience.


Then you will have plenty to eat.\par You will be full.\par You will praise the name\par of the Lord your God.\par He has done wonderful things for you.\par My people will never \{again\} be ashamed.\par


God is not a man; he will not lie. God is not a human being; his decisions will not change. If the Lord says he will do something, then he will do it. If the Lord makes a promise, then he will do the thing he promised.


In Christ we were chosen \{to be God’s people\}. God had already planned for us to be his people, because that is what God wanted. And God is the One who makes everything agree with what he decides and wants.


They sang the song of Moses, {\cf2\super [113]} the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb:


Then I saw heaven open. There before me was a white horse. The rider on the horse is called Faithful and True. He is right in his judging and in making war.


They said, “Amen {\cf2\super [56]} ! Praise, glory, wisdom, thanks, honor, power, and strength belong to our God forever and ever. Amen!”
