So Abraham, rising up in the night, saddled his ass: and took with him two young men, and Isaac his son. And when he had cut wood for the holocaust, he went his way to the place which God had commanded him.


From the thirteenth year of Josias the son of Ammon king of Juda until this day, this is the three and twentieth year, the word of the Lord hath come to me, and I have spoken to you, rising before day and speaking, and you have not hearkened.


To give ear to the words of my servants the prophets whom I sent to you, rising up early and sending, and you have not hearkened:


And now, because you have done all these works, saith the Lord: and I have spoken to you, rising up early and speaking, and you have not heard: and I have called you, and you have not answered:

Josue, therefore, when he rose in the morning, made Israel to come by their tribes: and the tribe of Juda was found,


And rising early in the morning, he mustered his soldiers, and went up with the ancients in the front of the army environed with the aid of the fighting men.
