So it was, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham and brought Lot out of the middle of the upheaval when he demolished the cities where Lot had lived.


Then God remembered Rachel. He listened to her and opened her womb.


and with every living creature that is with you #– #birds, livestock, and all wildlife of the earth that are with you #– #all the animals of the earth that came out of the ark.


Remember me for this, my God, and don’t erase the deeds of faithful love I have done for the house of my God and for its services.


Then I instructed the Levites to purify themselves  and guard the city gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God,  and look on me with compassion according to the abundance of your faithful love.


Remember them, my God, for defiling the priesthood as well as the covenant of the priesthood and the Levites.


I also arranged for the donation of wood at the appointed times and for the firstfruits. Remember me, my God, with favour.


When he withholds water, everything dries up, and when he releases it, it destroys the land.


If only you would hide me in Sheol and conceal me until your anger   passes. If only you would appoint a time for me and then remember me.


Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea. The Lord drove the sea back with a powerful east wind all that night and turned the sea into dry land. So the waters were divided,


But you blew with your breath, and the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.


God heard their groaning, and God remembered  his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

He rebukes the sea and dries it up, and he makes all the rivers run dry. Bashan and Carmel wither; even the flower of Lebanon withers.


Lord, I have heard the report about you; Lord, I stand in awe of your deeds. Revive your work in these years; make it known in these years. In your wrath remember mercy!


The Lord   will pass through the sea of distress and strike the waves of the sea; all the depths of the Nile will dry up. The pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt will come to an end.


‘When you enter into battle in your land against an adversary who is attacking you, sound short blasts on the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the Lord your God and be saved from your enemies.


The angel of the Lord asked him, ‘Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? Look, I came out to oppose you, because I consider what you are doing to be evil.


The great city  split into three parts, and the cities of the nations  fell. Babylon the Great was remembered in God’s presence; he gave her the cup filled with the wine of his fierce anger.


For her sins are piled up  to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.


The next morning Elkanah and Hannah got up early to worship before the Lord. Afterwards, they returned home to Ramah.  Then Elkanah was intimate with his wife Hannah, and the Lord remembered her.
