Now when God destroyed the cities of that country, remembering Abraham, he delivered Lot out of the destruction of the cities wherein he had dwelt.


The Lord also remembering Rachel heard her, and opened her womb,


And with every living soul that is with you, as well in all birds as in cattle and beasts of the earth, that are come forth out of the ark: and in all the beasts of the earth.


Remember me, O my God, for this thing: and wipe not out my kindnesses, which I have done relating to the house of my God and his ceremonies.


I spoke also to the Levites that they should be purified, and should come to keep the gates, and to sanctify the sabbath day. For this also remember me, O my God: and spare me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.


Remember them, O Lord my God, that defile the priesthood, and the law of priests and Levites.


And for the offering of wood at times appointed, and for the first-fruits. Remember me, O my God, unto good. Amen.


If he withhold the waters, all things shall be dried up: and if he send them out, they shall overturn the earth.


Who will grant me this, that thou mayest protect me in hell, and hide me till thy wrath pass, and appoint me a time when thou wilt remember me?


And their enemies afflicted them: and they were humbled under their hands:


They wandered in a wilderness, in a place without water: they found not the way of a city for their habitation.


What shall I render to the Lord, for all the things he hath rendered unto me?


A gradual canticle of David. Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell in unity.


If I shall walk in the midst of tribulation, thou wilt quicken me: and thou hast stretched forth thy hand against the wrath of my enemies: and thy right hand hath saved me.


What profit is there in my blood, whilst I go down to corruption? Shall dust confess to thee, or declare thy truth?


And he will bring forth thy justice as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.


And when Moses had stretched forth his hand over the sea, the Lord took it away by a strong and burning wind blowing all the night; and turned it into dry ground: and the water was divided.


Thy wind blew and the sea covered them: they sunk as lead in the mighty waters.


And he heard their groaning: and remembered the covenant which he made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.


The north wind driveth away rain, as doth a sad countenance a backbiting tongue.


Who say to the deep: Be thou desolate, and I will dry up thy rivers.


A drought upon her waters, and they shall be dried up: because it is a land of idols, and they glory in monstrous things.


The Lord hath sworn against the pride of Jacob: surely I will never forget all their works.


And shall not I spare Ninive, that great city, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand persons that know not how to distinguish between their right hand and their left, and many beasts?


He rebuketh the sea, and drieth it up: and bringeth all the rivers to be a desert. Basan languisheth and Carmel: and the dower of Libanus fadeth away.


O Lord, I have heard thy hearing, and was afraid. O Lord, thy work, in the midst of the years bring it to life: In the midst of the years thou shalt make it known: when thou art angry, thou wilt remember mercy.


And he shall pass over the strait of the sea, and shall strike the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the river shall be confounded, and the pride of Assyria shall be humbled, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart.


If you go forth to war out of your land against the enemies that fight against you, you shall sound aloud with the trumpets: and there shall be a remembrance of you before the Lord your God, that you may be delivered out of the hands of your enemies.
