You could not possibly do such a thing: to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. You could not possibly do that! Won’t the Judge of the whole earth do what is just? ’


I said to myself, ‘See, I have amassed wisdom far beyond all those who were over Jerusalem before me,  and my mind has thoroughly grasped  wisdom and knowledge.’


Rejoice, young person, while you are young, and let your heart be glad in the days of your youth. And walk in the ways of your heart and in the desire of your eyes; but know that for all of these things God will bring you to judgement.


For God will bring every act to judgement,  including every hidden thing, whether good or evil.


I said to myself, ‘Go ahead, I will test you with pleasure;  enjoy what is good.’ But it turned out to be futile.


There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven:


For every activity there is a right time and procedure,  even though a person’s troubles are heavy on him.


‘At the time of the end, the king of the South will engage him in battle, but the king of the North will storm against him  with chariots, horsemen, and many ships. He will invade countries and sweep through them like a flood.


‘But you, Daniel, keep these words secret  and seal the book  until the time of the end.  Many will roam about,  and knowledge will increase.’


He said, ‘Go on your way, Daniel, for the words are secret  and sealed until the time of the end.


For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father,   and then he will reward each according to what he has done.


The Father,   in fact, judges no one but has given all judgement to the Son,


He said to them, ‘It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has set by his own authority.


because he has set a day when he is going to judge the world in righteousness by the man he has appointed. He has provided proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.’


So don’t judge  anything prematurely, before the Lord comes,  who will both bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the intentions of the hearts. And then praise will come to each one from God.


For we must all appear before the judgement seat  of Christ,  so that each may be repaid  for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.


About the times and the seasons:  Brothers and sisters, you do not need anything to be written to you.


The nations were angry, but your wrath has come. The time has come for the dead to be judged and to give the reward to your servants the prophets, to the saints, and to those who fear your name, both small and great, and the time has come to destroy those who destroy the earth.


He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan,  , and bound  him for a thousand years.
